Replacement Gas Can Lids

Nuclear power

CLONES PLAYING CHESS
The spot facing the nuclear energy debate.
bet that at least once you may have seen that strange spot where the same two guys talking about playing chess nuclear energy. In addition, I bet you're concentrated on the situation funny and not so much the importance of their words. Nuclear energy know what that means?? What is this?? Why talk about it??
one at a time to answer all questions.
What does that mean? What is ???....:
Nuclear energy is energy that is liberated in the reactions involving particles that form the nucleo.Nel 1905, Albert Einstein enunciated his theory of equivalence between matter and energy, expressed in the equation E = mc ² . It allows you to calculate how much energy (E) is obtained by a certain amount of material (m).
A nuclear power plant is a normal power plant, the main difference lies in the mode of production of steam that makes nuclear reactor in a steel bowl. The key part of that is the core, which is inserted in the nuclear fuel: uranium rods.
Inside the core is initiated the process of controlled nuclear fission (split, fragmentation of the atom) that produces the heat needed to heat water and turn it into steam at high pressure. The steam generated is sent to run the turbine, this rotates the alternator that produces electricity. Downstream of the turbine the steam is condensed and sent back to the steam generators.
Why do you speak? ?
The Italian government has recently approved the decree on the way the return to nuclear power, but the opposition to this source of energy continues to be strong in the country that has decided not to use it in a referendum for more than twenty years after the Chernobyl disaster. This catastrophe is in the explosion of a nuclear plant that led to the release of a cloud of radioactive materials due to which the surrounding areas were heavily contaminated and then evacuated.
In Italy, many people are in favor of nuclear energy, because:

want -energy 100% of the time;
-think of future
-trust in technology;
-think the issue of carbon dioxide.

Others are against it because:

-want 100% green energy;
-think of the past;
-the technology is not infallible;
-think of the radioactive waste.
For Italy, a decision has not yet been made, but between April 15 and June 15, 2011, the Italians make a choice about the future of our state.

Because there is strong opposition?? Why not believe this is a good order?? It is or is not?? Or more simply: what are the advantages and disadvantages of nuclear energy??
benefits from the economic point of view are to ensure energy independence and to pay less electricity. From environmental point of view of nuclear energy, compared to fuels fossil, does not involve the emission of harmful gases, mainly responsible for environmental phenomena such as acid rain and the greenhouse effect. Finally, the high-yield nuclear fuel than the fossil also beneficial to save space during transport and in terms of plant size.
The disadvantages of nuclear energy use are derived, however, the high level of radioactivity that accompanies all stages of the production process, from the fission reaction itself to the disposal of waste. This radiation damage in biological tissues seriously, as they can affect the gene pool of the cells, causing cancer or genetic mutations inherited. All this requires a series of rigorous radiation control measures and protection in various stages of production. Moreover, as very small, and as security systems and control are more reliable, there is always the risk of serious accidents such as Chernobyl.
accidents in nuclear power plants are classified on a scale from 0 (dead easy) to 7 (very serious accident). This scale of measurement is called INES (International Nuclear Event Scale).
Below are listed major nuclear accidents:

-Kyshtym (Soviet Union 1957) - Ines scale 6.
A barrel of radioactive waste caught fire and exploded contaminating thousands of square kilometers of land. Were exposed to radiation about 270,000 people.

-Sellafield (Great Britain 1957) - Ines 5 scale.
A fire in the reactor where plutonium was produced generated a huge radioactive cloud. The cloud across the entire Europa.In this case, there were only 300 deaths.

-Three Mile Island (Harrisburg, USA 1969) - Ines 5 scale.
The overheating caused the reactor core meltdown releasing radioactive gases into the atmosphere.

-Tokaimura (Japan, 1999) - Ines scale 4.
An accident at a nuclear fuel fabrication activated the uncontrolled chain reaction. Three people died instantly while another 400 were exposed to radiation.

And finally we have an accident at Chernobyl in 1986, which corresponds to a 7 on the INES scale.
warming caused the melting of the reactor core and radioactive steam explosion. He rose to heaven in a cloud of radioactive material dispersed in about 30 people died immediately, another 2,500 in the aftermath of disease and causes cancer. The whole of Europe was exposed to the radioactive cloud and for millions of Europeans increased the risk of cancer and leukemia.

We think nuclear energy is useful for the future, because the fuel fossil will not last forever. It may be the solution to all our problems but also the cause. Less risky solution as there are many other alternative energy sources (wind, solar, geothermal, tidal, hydro, etc ...) that cause less harm to the health of our planet and the people who live there
